Artist’s statement:

Learn how to break down the process of watercolour painting into manageable steps and avoid common pitfalls. Let Linda guide you through the important stages, from the initial inspiration to the finished piece.
Topics will include:
– Drawing (from your initial inspiration)
– Composition, design and monochromatic studies
– Image transfer to paper and paper type
– Colour wheel review, colour mixing and choice of colour scheme
– Different watercolour techniques, which will be addressed in the context of your own painting
Linda as always, will provide plenty of individual help and constructive critiques as you discover and develop your own pathway to success.
*Please note: This course is designed for students with some watercolour experience.

Fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. Kanata Art Club reserves the right to cancel a class where there is insufficient registration.
To withdraw prior to the start date, please contact the registrar at registrar@kanataartclub.com. A cheque for a full refund less an administrative fee of $15.00 will be issued if a written request is received no less than one week prior to the start of the first class (i.e., on September 6th). There will be no refund issued beyond that date.
